Is there anything she can't do? A mother's pride

Upon turning 10 months old, Alice weighed 33 pounds. She started wearing shoes this month. She got one more tooth. She's learning to eat on her own. We do alphabet flashcards with her, and she can say "A" and "B" When you say "no no", she repeats "no no", and she likes to shake her head no when you ask her things, even if she doesn't really mean no, like a game. She closes her eyes when you tell her to. She can say "book, head, bye bye, nana(banana), Nena(Elena), says Mmmm for food, and bu" for button. She likes to brush her own hair. Points to the fan when you say fan. Will not eat until she prays. She folds her hands while you pray and then raises her hands to praise the Lord. She crawls up and down the stairs. She's very coordinated at putting blocks in holes and those rings on a stick. She does simple action songs like Open Shut Them, and "The Eensy Weensy Spider" etc.. She knows where a lot of her body parts are. She's still doing her reading videos, flashcards, and math dots. Ok, I'll stop...for now.

fun baby

Alice is very sociable and so much fun! She's always saying hi and trying to get people to pay attention to her. She loves when people chase and catch her, or play that they are animals with her. Her favorite are bears and lions and their big roars. She is a great "roarer"! She covers her face with her hands and then takes them away to play peek a boo, or she'll pop up out of her crib and say "hi", cause she can't actually say peek a boo. She really gets around and has a lot of near falls. When she does she'll catch herself and say "OOOOooohh!"

Friend's birthday party

Here she is with her friend, the birthday girl, who turned 2 on Sept. 24 Alice had fun just sitting in the middle of the room boppin' and trying to eat her hat, while the little kids ran around her in circles. Good times were had by all.

The only way her hat would stay is by wrapping the part that should go under the chin, around her piggy tails.

10 months old

I found a picture where she is definitely not smiling. In fact, I think she looks plain ol' fed up with me here.
