Vacation (another one?)

Most people from our house left to other places on vacation. We stayed in the house for a couple of weeks, and invited friends to stay with us. One of them is a good photographer, which is why I'm blessed to have many pictures of this month.
Here is Alice with boots someone gave her. They go up to her knees and she can't move her legs..hahah..Only good for a picture..for now. A few pics of downtown Monterrey...I mean... of Alice.

Alice is very gentle with babies and animals.
She pats herself when going to sleep, and pats her chest when she chokes or coughs. She can tell you she's "one" and calls herself "Ada". Daddy: "Who does daddy love?" "Ada" "Who's so pretty?" "Ada"
We can sing "God made all the animals" with me singing everything and her interjecting the animal sounds in just the right place, and saying "animals" at the right spot in the chorus.
Thanks to my family for a wonderful reunion and for the presents/necesseties you got for us!

First plane ride and relative visit

The planes were all full. I managed to get her into an empty seat on the last 45 min. flight. Sorry, I don't have any good family reunion pics. The batteries in my camera died right away. I'm hoping to get them sent to me soon..

She loved this gift: a dog that you could record what you want it to say. Unfortunately, everyone else liked it too, which is why the battery ran out as soon as we got home. What a tute little smiley face!

PS: She still loves the dog!

13 month park pics

One thing I love is how Alice will put her little arms around my neck and give me a gentle kiss. She'll just kiss me spontaneously, and it melts my heart!
She amazes me every day by learning something new, or doing or saying or understanding something I didn't know she could. She went to her first circus this month. She loved it!
She is still kinda wobbly when she walks, yet she already dances by stomping her feet fast or going around and around in circles. That's aside from all her upper body moves, which she's been doing for a while now.
